Competitions

Students from Grade 3 Ballet and upwards are offered the opportunity to participate in dance competitions.
Competitions are an enriching experience for students of all ages and provide additional performance opportunities throughout the year.

Students wishing to participate in competitions with solos, duos and trios, must be enrolled in conditioning, and take at least two ballet lessons per week.
They are required to attend additional private lessons to learn their items, and attend their designated competition class until the end of competition season.

Teachers must be confident the student is at a satisfactory level in order for them to participate in competitions.

 

Intermediate and Senior students may also be offered the opportunity to participate in troupes at competitions. 

These practices are done during class time so rarely occur any extra rehearsals.​
