Classes
Our classes aim to develop a love for dance; offering high quality, technical training in a fun and positive environment.
Classes are systemised by age and prior dance experience, and are available from beginners to advanced dancers.
RAD Classical Ballet
Classical Ballet is the foundation of all dance; the technique, values and disciplines translating to all other styles.

From Baby Ballet - Advanced 2 level, the Academy offers ballet classes to students from 2 years of age, following the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) syllabus.

The RAD is a world-renowned training program that develops strong, confident and expressive dancers, providing a clear and progressive pathway.
Through structured lessons that build technique, musicality, strength and artistry, students gain a solid foundation in classical dance.
Whether dancing for enjoyment or pursuing exams and performance opportunities, our ballet program nurtures discipline, creativity and a lifelong love of dance.

Please note, students wishing to pursue exams and competitions must take a minimum of two ballet classes per week, and a conditioning class.

Pointe
Pointe work is an exciting milestone in a dancer's ballet journey, combining grace, strength and dedication.

Pre-Pointe is introduced in Grade 4, and focuses on strengthening the core, legs, feet and ankles, to ensure the dancers have sufficient joint flexibility, technique and maturity to progress to dancing en pointe safely.

Beginner Pointe typically commences in Grade 5, around the age of 12, once students have developed the required technique and control.
Classes continue to build strength, balance and artistry as dancers progress through their levels.
Pointe is a rewarding and challenging extension of classical ballet, offering dancers the opportunity to experience the beauty and tradition of this timeless art form.
Please note, students wishing to progress to dancing en pointe must take a minimum of two ballet classes per week, and a conditioning class.
Adult Ballet
Our Adult Ballet classes offer a welcoming and encouraging environment for dancers of all experience levels - from complete beginners to those returning to the barre.

These classes focus on developing strength, posture, coordination and grace while improving flexibility and fitness.
With a balance of technique and artistry, Adult Ballet is a wonderful way to challenge the body, calm the mind and rediscover the joy of dance.

No previous experience is required - just a love of movement!

Conditioning
Conditioning is designed to help dancers build the strength, flexibility and endurance needed to perform at their best.
Through targeted exercises focusing on core stability, alignment and muscle control, students develop a strong technical foundation that supports all styles of dance.

Available to students fro Pre-Primary Ballet and above, this class enhances performance, prevents injury and encourages body awareness - helping dancers move with confidence, power and precision.

Please note, conditioning is compulsory for all students wishing to sit their RAD ballet exams and participate in competitions.
Contemporary
Contemporary dance is a creative and expressive style that combines elements of ballet, modern and lyrical movement.
Dancers learn to move with freedom, strength and emotion - exploring floor work, dynamic shapes and fluid transitions.
This class encourages individuality and artistry while developing strong technique and body awareness.
Students must be enrolled in at least one ballet class per week to support their technical foundation.

Contemporary is perfect for dancers who love to experiment, express themselves and tell stories through movement.

Lyrical
Lyrical dance blends the grace of ballet with the expression of contemporary movement, creating a beautiful and emotional style that tells a story through dance.
Students can commence once enrolled in Primary Ballet, and must continue to attend at least one ballet class per week to support their technique and strength.

In lyrical classes, dancers explore musicality, emotion and flow while developing control, flexibility and artistry.
It's the perfect class for those who love to express themselves and connect deeply with the music.

Please note that lyrical is offered as part of our Senior Contemporary class and is not a separate lesson for our senior students.
Jazz
Jazz is a dynamic style of dance that combines technique, strength and flexibility with expressive performance and personality.

Dancers will learn kicks, turns, leaps and stylish choreography set to upbeat music - building confidence and stage presence with every class.

New to En Pointe in 2026, our jazz classes are a fantastic opportunity for our dancers to challenge themselves, expand their versatility and improve their performance skills.
