2026 Competition Fees

Competition classes are not charged; instead, each student pays for the number of items they wish to perform at competitions.
Competition fees include all choreography, coaching and rehearsal time.

A separate invoice is emailed for competition work and contains all payment information.

Solo

$300 per solo

Own Choreography Solo/Duo/Trio

$100 per item

This fee covers rehearsal time during competition classes, admin time editing music and entering the routine into competitions, and a teacher being present at the competition for the item.

Duo

$150 per dancer

Trio

$100 per dancer

In addition to the cost of the competition item(s), is an entry fee for each competition, as well as a costume(s).
Students are required to organise their own costumes, however, they must be approved by Miss Tianna prior to being purchased.

All competition students also require an En Pointe tracksuit (jacket & track pants) in order to be able to represent the Academy at competitions throughout the year.

An example of how participating at competitions with 1 solo would work:

2x private lessons to learn the solo. These lessons will be scheduled by Miss Tianna, and may take place during school holidays and/or on the weekend.
Attend designated competition class until the end of competition season.
Pay a once off solo fee of $300; this covers all choreography, coaching and rehearsal time for the year.
Organise a costume (Miss Tianna can provide some direction with this). Please do not make any purchases without checking if the costume is suitable first!
Pay an entry fee for each competition - this is invoiced before each competition and must be paid prior to the student competing.
Attend the competition!
